60V E-Bikes: Single Motor vs Dual Motor – How to Choose Between Rover X, Hyper X, and Hyper X Pro

If you’re looking at our 60V lineup, there are two main options: Rover X and Hyper X (single motor), and Hyper X Pro (dual motor). Here’s how they compare:

Rover X & Hyper X (Single Motor)

The single-motor 60V models are perfect for flat roads and speed-focused riding. Key features:

  • Battery: 60V 50Ah standard lithium-ion cells

  • Motor Power: 3200W peak

  • Suspension: Triple DNM shock system

  • Tires: 26×4 Fat Tires, puncture-resistant

  • Top Speed: Up to 43 mph

  • Brakes: 4-piston Gemma hydraulic brakes

  • Fork: EXSHO Lockable Dual-Shoulder Fork with 80mm travel

  • Modes: Torque or Cadence, factory set to Class 2, also supports Class 1, 2, 3, and unlocked modes

These bikes are lightweight, efficient, and ideal for commuting or long rides on flat terrain.

Hyper X Pro (Dual Motor)

For more power, hill climbing, or high-speed riding, the dual-motor Hyper X Pro is ideal. Key features:

  • Dual Motors: Each 1500W, peak total 6400W

  • Top Speed: Up to 46 mph

  • Front Fork: EXSHO dual crown inverted fork, 100mm travel, adjustable for compression and rebound — stiffer and better for rough terrain

  • Tires: 26×4 Innova Fat Tires, puncture-resistant

  • Battery: Dual 60V 25Ah Samsung 50S high-discharge cells (50Ah total), long-range and high power

  • Fenders: Aluminum alloy

Dual motors provide extra torque for climbing and high-speed off-road performance, with a more robust suspension and wider tires for stability.

Inverted vs Standard Fork

  • Single-motor models: Standard EXSHO dual-shoulder fork — good for flat-road control

  • Dual-motor models: EXSHO dual crown inverted fork — stiffer, absorbs shocks better, maintains alignment under load

  • Effect: Inverted forks give more stability, reduce flex, and improve handling at high speeds

Choosing the Right Model

  • Single Motor (Rover X / Hyper X): Best for speed, efficiency, and flat roads

  • Dual Motor (Hyper X Pro): Best for hill climbing, off-road adventures, and high-speed performance

Both options support Class 1, 2, 3, and unlock modes, making them versatile for urban streets, trails, or open-road rides.
